PROFILE

Rajab is a Managing Partner with Imara Consultants, he received his Professional Accounting studies from the Institute of Finance Management – IFM Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.He is a Fellow ACCA member a Professional Accounting Board of England, and he is a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice, CPA –PP registered by the National Board of Accountant and Auditors of Tanzania. He is also a registered Tax Consultant recognized by Tanzania Revenue Authority –TRA and Zanzibar Revenue Authority – ZRA. He also possesses Certificate of International Auditing Standards issued by ACCA Board of England.

He is trained in Islamic Banking and Finance skills and possess an Islamic Finance Expert Qualification - CIFE, Islamic Insurance– Takaful qualification and a Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance both from the Academy for International Modern Studies – Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance of the United Kingdom. He possesses Certificate in Corporate Governance issued by Institute of Director Tanzania.He is a member of Shariah Supervisory Board of ZIC Takaful and a member of Finance and Administration Committee of SUMERIT University – Zanzibar. He also seats as a Board member of Zanzibar Institute of Accountants, Auditors and Tax Consultants ZIAAT

Rajab has vast experience in accounting, auditing and tax consultancy services. He is a registered Director recognized by Institute of Director – Tanzania. He also had over 25 years’ experience in public sectors accounting and management and had served as CFO of several public sector institutions for many years.Rajab is one of the three partners and a Managing Partner of the IMARA CONSULTANTS an audit firm with foreign as well as local clients. He is also responsible for audit quality control procedures and assurance and ensure client’s financial statements audits are completed in time.
