I kindly welcome you to Zanzibar Institute of Accountants, Auditors and Tax Consultants (ZIAAT) website aimed at improving communication with all stakeholders in the public and private sectors from both within and outside Zanzibar. This website comes with the following features:

• • Provides Guidelines, Templates and Documents online for easy accessibility and use by our stakeholders.
• • Provides information on Contemporary Professional Standards arising from the global perspectives.
• • Provides periodic updates on activities at ZIAAT and provides an interactive platform to bridge the communication gap between the Institute and stakeholders.

The Institute was setup to perform its functions under the Act of House of Representatives (Act Number 07/2022) with the key role of regulating accountancy and taxation professions and professionals. The Institute works with all stakeholders to promote both accountancy and taxation professions. In this case all accountants, auditors and tax consultants as recognized in the respective Act shall be regulated under this Institute.
